More intercity buses beginning Friday
Big changes for numbers 701, 702, 710

The provincial government is boosting the number of intercity buses on the island beginning this Friday.

There are currently ten number 710 buses, which run between Jeju Terminal and Seongsan Port. There will be 13 at the end of the week. The intervals between buses will also be shortened from between 20 and 30 minutes to between 15 and 25. All of the changes translate into 90 runs daily, as opposed to the current 72.

Four more buses will be added to the 701 line, which runs along the east coast from Jeju City to Seogwipo, and the 702, which runs along the west coast to Seogwipo. They will make the trip 224 times per day, rather than the current 208.

제주특별자치도가 오는 24일부터 시외버스를 증차 운행합니다.

주요내용을 보면 제주터미널과 성산항을 오가는 710번 노선의 경우 현재 버스 10대에서 13대로 증차하고 운행간격을 기존 20-30분에서 15에서 25분으로,
운행횟수는 하루 72회에서 90회로 늘립니다.

또 동일주의 701번과 서일주의 702번 노선에 대해서도 버스 4대를 증차해
운행횟수를 하루 208회에서 224회로 증편운행합니다.
