Land inspections around new airport site
Authorities will examine 700+ plots that were sold Nov. 2015-Dec. 2016

Seogwipo officials will inspect recently sold land in Seongsan-eup around the site for Jeju’s second airport.

Inspectors will focus on the 722 plots that changed hands between November 2015, when the area was designated as a Land Transaction Permission Zone, and the end of last year. The plots cover some 1.2 million square meters.

They will be checking to see if the people registered to live there are actually doing so, whether zoning laws are being followed, and whether development has begun on land registered for commercial use.

The city will give violators three months to comply with the law. If they do not, the city will fine them.

제2공항 부근 토지 거래 일제조사

서귀포시가 성산읍 제2공항 예정지 부근에서 거래된 토지 이용 실태를 조사합니다.

조사 대상은 지난 2015년 11월 성산읍이 토지거래허가구역으로 지정된 후 지난해 말까지 거래된 722필지에 121만여 제곱미터입니다.

특히 주민등록 전입자가 실제 거주하는지를 비롯해 취득 목적대로 사용하고 있는지,
사업용 토지의 개발착수 여부 등을 조사하게 됩니다.

서귀포시는 위반 사례가 적발되면 3개월 이내에 이행명령을 내리고 기간 내에 이행하지 않을 경우 이행강제금을 부과한다는 방침입니다.
