How can Fourth Industrial Revolution benefit Jeju?

The provincial government is looking into how best to harness the power of the emerging Fourth Industrial Revolution, which is marked by breakthroughs in fields like artificial intelligence.

As part of the efforts, local officials will ask the Jeju Development Institute to study the issue through the end of the year and come up with strategies on how the province can best utilize the new technological developments.

The provincial government wants the proposals to be in line with its stated vision for the island and with the second version of the Free International City plan.

4차 산업혁명 대비 미래유망산업 발굴 추진

제주특별자치도는 인공지능이 주도하는 4차 산업혁명을 준비하기 위한 미래유망산업을 발굴합니다.

이를 위해 오는 12월까지 제주발전연구원에 용역을 의뢰해 제주에 맞는 유망산업을 발굴하고 이를 적용하기 위한 추진전략을 마련하게 됩니다.

특히 제주미래비전은 물론 제2차 국제자유도시종합계획과 연계될 수 있도록 추진한다는 방침입니다.
