Forest fire prevention efforts
Provincial officials conducting inspections April 1-9

The provincial government is pulling out all the stops in forest fire prevention efforts from April 1st through the 9th.

The province is deploying officials, forest rangers, and firefighters who specialize in containing forest blazes to area communities deemed most at risk. They will make sure all systems are in place to prevent and respond to fires.

They will put particular emphasis on prevention efforts, like ensuring no one lights fires in orchards, fields, or on visits to ancestral graves.

내달 1일부터 산불방지 비상체계 돌입

제주특별자치도가 다음달 1일부터 9일까지 산불방지 비상체계에 돌입합니다.

이에 따라 행정시와 읍면 공무원을 비롯해 산불감시원, 산불예방 전문진화대원을
취약 마을에 배치해 산불예방을 위한 계도와 단속에 나섭니다.

특히 밭두렁과 과수원에서의 농산폐기물 소각행위, 성묘객 실화를 중점 단속한다는 방침입니다.
