Jeju April Third Peace Prize ceremony postponed
Winner unable to attend

Organizers have postponed the award ceremony for the second Jeju April Third Peace Prize.

It was scheduled for Saturday, April first at the Hanwha Resort. The winner, American Professor Bruce Cumings, could not make it due to personal reasons, so organizers postponed it and the accompanying press conference.

The April Third Peace Foundation plans to consult with Professor Cumings before rescheduling the ceremony.

당초 내일(1일) 예정이었던 제2회 제주 4·3 평화상 시상식이 연기됐습니다.

제주 4·3 평화재단은 제주 4·3 평화상 수상자인 부르스 커밍스 석좌교수가 개인 사정으로 시상식 불참 의사를 밝힘에 따라 내일 오후 한화리조트에서 개최 예정이던
시상식을 연기하기로 했습니다.

이와 함께 수상자 기자회견도 취소했습니다.

제주 4·3 평화재단은 추후 수상자와 협의해 다시 시상식 일정을 잡을 계획입니다.
