Animal rescue center now open Saturdays
Must arrive before noon for pet adoption

Beginning this month, the animal rescue center is open on Saturdays.

The province says the schedule change is designed to make it easier for people to adopt abandoned animals.

The center is now open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays, but anyone hoping to get a new pet must arrive before noon.

A lot of animals need new homes - the center has about 11-hundred abandoned pets.

유기동물 보호센터 토요일에도 개방

다음달(1일)부터 토요일에도 동물보호센터가 개방됩니다.

제주도는 유기동물 입양 활성화 차원에서 다음달 8일부터 토요일에도 보호센터를 개방합니다.

다만 토요일에는 오전 11시부터 오후 한시까지 개방하며 입양을 희망할 경우에는 12시 이전에 방문해야 합니다.

현재 유기동물 보호센터에는 1천 1백여 마리가 수용돼 있습니다.
