Province plans new residential area in Gimnyeong-ri
900+ units by 2020

The provincial government plans to develop a large residential area in Gimnyeong-ri, Gujwa-eup.

Officials are planning 900 units in the area ? 600 public housing units and 300 that are built by the private sector. The province owns the 108,000-square-meter site around the Gimnyeong sports complex, and it will begin a feasibility study by the end of the month.

If all goes to plan, developers and the Korea Land and Housing Corporation will build rental units in the area, and there will be housing lots as well as single-family detached houses.

The goal is to start building next year and have the first residents move in in 2020.

김녕리 공공임대주택지구 조성

구좌읍 김녕리에 대규모 공공임대주택 지구가 조성됩니다.

제주특별자치도는 김녕 종합운동장 인근 도유지 10만 8천 제곱미터 부지에 공공주택 6백세대와 민간주택 3백세대 등 9백여 세대 규모의 주택 지구를 조성하기로 하고
이달 안에 타당성 검토에 들어간다고 밝혔습니다.

지구 안에는 개발공사와 LH가 추진하는 임대주택, 민간에 택지를 매각해 분양하는 주택용지, 그리고 단독주택 용지 등이 조성될 예정입니다.

제주도는 이르면 내년부터 공사에 들어가 2020년 입주를 목표로 하고 있습니다.
