Consumer prices climb 2.5% in March
Fuel prices up 13%

Consumer prices in Jeju continue to rise.

The Honam Regional Statistics Office pegs the March consumer price index at 103.17. That’s 2.5 percent higher than the year before.

Prices for fruit and other fresh foods were up 5.2 percent, while living necessities coast 2.7 percent more.

Agricultural, seafood, and livestock products were 2.9 percent more expensive, and houses cost an average of 2.4 percent more. Finally, gasoline, diesel, and other fuel prices rose by more than 13 percent.

3월 소비자 물가 2.5% 상승…신선식품 주도

제주지역 소비자 물가가 계속해서 오르고 있습니다.

호남지방통계청에 따르면 지난달 제주지역 소비자물가지수는 103.17로 지난해 같은 기간보다 2.5% 상승했습니다.

특히 과일 등 신선식품이 5.2% 오르며 상승률을 이끌었고 체감물가를 반영하는 생활물가지수는 2.7% 올랐습니다.

품목별로는 농·수·축산물과 집세가 각각 2.9%, 2.4% 올랐고, 휘발유와 경유 등 석유류가 13% 이상 상승했습니다.
