Ora Tourism Complex motion delayed
Council committee to take up environmental impact assessment next month

Lawmakers have delayed a motion on the environmental impact assessment for the Ora Tourism Complex.

After meetings with the people who would be involved in the assessment and area residents, members of the council’s environmental city committee concluded that the issue demands a more thorough review.

The committee therefore decided to host a forum with all parties next month before discussing the motion.

제주도의회 환경도시위원회는 오라관광단지 조성사업에 따른 환경영향평가 동의안 처리와 관련해 사업현장을 방문하고 관계자, 지역주민과 대화를 가진 결과 여러가지 사항에 대해 심도 있는 검토가 필요하다고 판단해 이같이 결정했다고 밝혔습니다.

이에 따라 다음달중에 전문가 집단, 지역주민 등과 토론회를 개최하고 이후에 다시 심사하기로 했습니다.
