Conference to boost ‘healthtainment’ field
Corporate, academic, and government representatives meet in Jeju

People from a range of backgrounds recently met in Jeju to explore a new tourism paradigm - a combination of health and entertainment they call “healthtainment.”

Representatives from the MoongChee Corporation, the Kangwon Trade and Establishment Institute, Global Open Partners, and the SNU Institutes of Green Bio Science and Technology held a conference at the Benikea Hotel in Aewol-eup, Jeju City.

They explored ways to create synergy with organizations and companies involved in the fields of health and entertainment both here in Jeju and in the mainland province of Gangwon.

주식회사 뭉치와 강원무역창업연구원, 글로벌오픈파트너스, 서울대학교 그린바이오과학기술연구원은 오늘, 애월읍 베니키아호텔 제주에서 '헬스테인먼트 사업 생태계 구축'을 위한 지역연계협의회를 개최했습니다.

이 자리에서 참여기관들은 제주와 강원지역의 헬스테인먼트 연계 기관과
기업들간 협력을 통해 시너지 효과를 창출 할 수 있는 방안을 논의했습니다.

헬스테인먼트는 건강을 뜻하는 헬스와 오락의 엔터테인먼트를 합성한 말입니다.
