Province mulls hosting ‘World Island Festival’
Accepting public opinion through end of May

The provincial government is considering hosting a tentatively-named “World Island Festival,” and it’s asking the public to submit their opinions on the matter.

Among other things, local officials are trying to gauge the need for hosting such an event and they’re looking for ideas regarding a name for it, if they do. They are accepting opinions through the end of May.

The province will then decide by the end of June whether or not to host the festival based on the feedback.

이를 위해 다음달까지 세계섬문화축제 개최 필요성과 새로운 명칭, 그리고 기타 건의사항 등을 접수합니다.

제주도는 도민 의견 수렴 결과를 토대로 오는 6월 최종 개최 여부를 결정할 계획입니다.
