As we just heard, beach season is upon us. Hundreds of representatives from a university and a foreign company recently headed out to the coast, but not to enjoy the water and beach ? to clean it up. Here’s Joseph Kim with their story.

Battling the scorching heat, they continue their job with a smile.

The volunteers are from a non-Korean based company and a university.
The company and the university do the volunteer work to promote awareness and importance of the ocean environment.

More than 450 volunteers participated in the ocean trash collection.
In a single day, they managed to collect 1.5 tons of garbage.
