‘Happy Housing’ units to be built in Hallim
Subsidized housing for newlyweds, university students, etc.

Subsidized housing called “Happy Housing” will be built in rural areas, following construction of the special residential units in urban communities.

The provincial government has approved a plan for Hallim, the first for areas outside a major island city.

The project entails the construction of 16 five-story buildings. Work will begin this October and is slated for completion next June.

“Happy Housing” units are for newlyweds, university students, and those just entering the workforce. Rent is at least 60 percent cheaper than nearby housing. Tenants can live in them for up to six years.

한림 행복주택 사업계획 승인

도심지역에 이어 읍면지역에서도 행복주택사업이 본격 추진됩니다.

제주특별자치도는 최근 한림리 행복주택 사업계획승인을 고시했습니다.

읍면지역에서의 행복주택사업 승인은 이번이 처음입니다.

사업시행자는 제주도개발공사로 한림리 544제곱미터 부지에 오는 10월부터 내년 6월까지 지하1층, 지상 5층의 16세대 규모로 지어집니다.

사회 초년생과 신혼부부, 대학생 등을 위한 행복주택은 임대보증금이나 임대료가
주변 시세보다 60% 이상 저렴하고 최장 6년까지 거주할 수 있다는 장점을 갖고 있습니다.
