Jeju Air plans regular Jeju-Ulsan flights
Trial service to begin in October

Jeju Air plans to begin offering regular service between the island and the mainland city of Ulsan within the first half of next year.

The airline is signing a business agreement to that effect with Ulsan officials Thursday. It plans to start offering two flights daily on a trial basis this October.

It would then make the service regular next year if the route seems profitable enough.

Korean Air is the only airline that currently offers service between Jeju and Ulsan.

제주항공, 제주-울산 정기취항 추진

제주항공이 내년 상반기 제주-울산 노선에 정기 취항을 추진합니다.

제주항공은 오는 17일 울산시와 이 같은 내용의 업무협약을 체결하고 오는 10월부터 제주-울산 노선에 매일 왕복 2차례씩 시범 운항에 나선다고 밝혔습니다.

제주항공은 시범 운항의 수익성을 검토한 뒤 내년 상반기 정기취항한다는 계획입니다.

제주와 울산 노선에는 현재 대한항공만이 운항하고 있습니다.
