제주대 교대생, 중장기 교원 수급 계획 요구

제주대학교 교육대학 학생들이 정부에 중장기적 교원 수급계획을
마련해 줄 것을 촉구했습니다.

제주대 교육대학 학생들은 오늘(11일) 제주시청에서 집회를 열고
올해 교사 선발 인원이 크게 줄어든 것은
과거 정부가 계획없이 많은 교사를 선발했기 때문이라고 주장했습니다

그러면서 학생 수 감소 등을 고려한 중장기적인 교원 수급 정책을
세워줄 것을 요구했습니다.

한편 올해 제주도교육청이 발표한 초등교사 선발 규모는 15명으로 지난해 예고했던 60명보다 크게 줄었습니다

2. JNU students call for organized teacher selections
Only 15 were selected as elementary school teachers

Students at Jeju National University studying education have called for a medium to long-term plan for teacher selections.

The students convened at Jeju City Hall on August 11th to make their request. They argued that the reason far fewer teachers were selected this year is because the Office of Education was selecting teachers without any real consideration of a future plan.

Accordingly, the students demanded a plan for future teacher selections, taking a possible decreased number of students into consideration.

This year, only 15 were selected to be elementary school teachers, far less than the 60 which were supposed to have been hired.
