Vietnamese arrive for FAM tour
Travel agents, representatives from major media outlets here for 3 days

The provincial government and Jeju Tourism Organization are hosting a familiarization tour of the island for representatives from Vietnam’s largest travel agency and some of its major media outlets.

Local representatives signed an agreement for the tour with Vietravel in April. The three-day trip began Thursday.

Vietravel designed the tour and it’s looking for feedback from the participants. Among other activities and attractions, it includes horseback riding and sailing.

The JTO foresees a lot of promotional effects from this FAM tour because executives from Vietnam’s top 12 media outlets are among the participants.

베트남 최대 여행사·주요 언론사 대상 팸투어

주도와 제주관광공사가 베트남 관광객 유치를 위해 현지 최대 여행사와 주요 언론사를 대상으로 팸투어를 실시합니다.

이번 팸투어는 지난 4월 베트남 최대 여행사인 비엣트레블과의 협약을 체결한 이후
후속 조치로 오늘(17일)부터 사흘동안 진행됩니다.

참가자들은 제주에서 비엣트레블이 개발한 제주관광상품을 점검하고 승마와 요트체험 등 고품격 레저를 체험할 예정입니다.

제주관광공사는 이번 팸투어에 베트남 12개 매체 편집장급 이상의 유력언론인이 참가함에 따라 제주관광에 대한 홍보효과를 기대하고 있습니다.
