Lotte Tour Development Co. looking for casino operator
Facility for foreign gamblers planned for Dream Tower in Jeju City

One of the Dream Tower developers is looking for a casino for the buildings when they open in a couple of years at Nohyeong Rotary in Jeju City.

The Lotte Tour Development Company’s board of directors recently decided to issue 40 billion won in convertible bonds. It made the announcement through the Financial Supervisory Service’s Data Analysis, Retrieval and Transfer System.

The company says the funding is for a casino exclusively for foreign gamblers and that it is currently in talks with local casino operators about taking over the business rights for the facility.

The Dream Tower is scheduled for completion in 2019. It will include a hotel, a 15,000-square-meter casino, and other facilities.

드림타워는 오는 2019년 완공을 목표로 공사 중이며 호텔과 부대시설, 1만 5천여 제곱미터 규모의 카지노가 들어설 예정입니다.
