JTO works with Japanese university students on tour packages
Two direct flight routes between Jeju, Japan from September 2

The Jeju Tourism Organization invited Japanese university students on a familiarization tour of the island and then asked them how to better serve the needs of Japanese travelers.

The JTO took six Waseda University students on the FAM tour.

The organization will revise the tour package based on the feedback from the students, and details of the package will then be posted in October’s edition of the Waseda Collection magazine. Major Japanese travel agencies will then begin selling the tours.

The JTO is working harder to boost the number of Japanese arrivals on the island, now that T’way Air offers direct flight service to Osaka and will begin offering it to Tokyo September 2nd.

日 현지 대학생 활용 관광상품 개발 추진

제주도와 제주관광공사가 일본 현지 대학생을 활용한 제주관광 상품 개발에 나섰습니다.

이를 위해 일본의 와세다대학교 재학생 6명을 초청해 취재 팸투어를 실시했습니다.

이번 팸투어를 통해 만들어진 콘텐츠들은 10월에 발간되는 와세다컬랙션 공식잡지에 소개되고, 대형여행사와 공동으로 관광 상품화될 예정입니다.

제주관광공사는 다음달 2일부터 일본 도쿄 직항노선에 취항하는 티웨이항공을 활용해 관광객 유치 활동을 강화할 계획입니다.
