JDC revises plan for newlywed’s homes
‘Happy Housing’ units will be 4 square meters larger

The Jeju Free International City Development Center is enlarging the so-called “Happy Housing” residential units it’s building in Jeju Technopark.

The subsidized units are for newlyweds. Originally, they were 39 square meters, now they will be 43.

150 units are set aside for newly-married couples in the development. That includes the “Happy Housing” units, as well as ten-year rentals. All of them will be bigger.

The JDC says the modifications follow the recommendations the land ministry made when it approved the construction plan.

제주국제자유도시개발센터가 제주시 첨단과학기술단지에 추진하고 있는
행복주택의 신혼부부용 세대의 면적을 당초 39제곱미터에서 43제곱미터로 확대됩니다.

설계변경이 이뤄지는 세대는 행복주택과 10년 임대주택 가운데 신혼부부용 150세대입니다.

이번 설계변경은 국토부가 최근 건설사업계획을 승인하면서 신혼부부용 주택의 전용면적을 확대하라는 권고한 것에 따른 것이라고 JDC는 밝히고 있습니다.
