10th anniversary of Jeju’s World Natural Heritage designation
Multiple events beginning September 10

A variety of events will be held over five days beginning September 10th commemorating the tenth anniversary of UNESCO’s designation of Jeju sites as World Natural Heritage.

The Jeju World Heritage Center is organizing the events, which include concerts and global forums. It is inviting 35-hundred people from 16 countries to them. The international guests include UNESCO personnel and representatives from other World Natural Heritage sites across the globe.

They and other event attendees will also be able to witness traditional traditional performances, including the Chilmeoridang Yeondeunggut ritual and a changing of the guard.

제주세계자연유산 등재 10주년을 맞아 다음달 10일부터 5일간 다양한 기념 행사가 열립니다.

제주도 세계유산본부는 이 기간에 유네스코 관련 해외 인사와 세계유산 자매결연지역 관계자 등 16개국에서 3천 500명을 초청해 음악회와 글로벌 포럼 등의 다양한 행사를 개최합니다.

또 칠머리당영등굿 시연과 전통혼례식, 수문장 교대의식 재현 등 체험행사도 마련됩니다
