Seoul earmarks \1.3t in Jeju funding for next year

The national government has included 1.29 trillion in funding for Jeju in its budget for next year.

That’s 26.8 billion won more that this year.

100 billion one is set aside for electric vehicle distribution, 17.4 billion for the establishment of a recycling center, 9.9 billion won for a national cemetery, 9 billion for repairs and replacements of outdated water supply and sewage treatment facilities, and 15 billion won for a new traffic interchange near the airport.

Not everything made the cut ? support for agricultural shipments by sea and funding for a safety check facility for electric vehicles was not included.

내년 제주 관련 국비 1조2천 900억 반영

정부가 내년 예산안을 확정한 가운데 제주관련 예산 1조 2천 900억원이 반영된 것으로 확인됐습니다.

이같은 예산액은 올해보다 268억원 증가한 것입니다.

주요내용을 보면 전기차 보급 1천억원을 비롯해 제주환경자원순환센터 174억원,
제주국립묘지 조성사업 99억원, 노후 상수도 정비사업 90억원, 제주공항 입체교차로 조성사업 35억원 등입니다.

그러나 농산물 해상운송 물류비 지원과 전기자동차 안전검사 기술센터 구축 사업비는 반영되지 않았습니다
