Provincial council teams up with Natl. Assembly Research Service
Service agrees to help make local lawmakers more effective

Representatives from the provincial council signed an agreement Tuesday at the provincial office with representatives from the National Assembly Research Service.

They agreed to work together to enhance the lawmaking competence and expertise of local lawmakers.

Both organizations will conduct joint research on major policies, co-host seminars, and exchange information as well as personnel.

Following the signing, the director of the research service gave a special lecture on the role of local government and the challenges it faces to gain more autonomy.

제주특별자치도의회와 국회 입법조사처간 입법 역량과 전문성 강화를 위한 업무협약식이 오늘 오전 제주도의회 대회의실에서 열렸습니다.

오늘 업무협약을 통해 두 기관은 주요사안에 대한 공동 연구와 세미나 개최, 정보교환, 인적교류를 추진하게 됩니다.

협약식에 이어 이내영 국회입법조사처장의 '지방분권과 지방의회 역할과 과제'에 대한 특강이 열리기도 했습니다.
