JDC to start work on new public housing project
10-year leases, tenants to move in early 2019

The land ministry has approved the Jeju Free International City Development Center’s public housing plan.

It greenlighted the JDC’s plan on Monday for 391 units in the Jeju Science Park.

All will be rentals with ten-year leases. Most of them, 230, will be 59 square meters in size. Another 76 will be 84 square meters. The JDC will begin accepting tenant applications in the first half of next year, with residents expected to move in a year later.

The development center is also working on another housing project ? 400 so-called “Happy Housing” units, which will be offered exclusively to newlyweds and other groups.

제주국제자유도시개발센터의 10년 공공임대주택 사업계획이 국토부의 승인을 받았습니다.

국토교통부는 지난 28일, JDC의 첨단과학기술단지 공공임대주택 건설사업 계획을 최종 승인했습니다.

10년 공공임대주택은 59제곱미터 230세대, 84제곱미터 76세대 등 391세대 규모로 내년 상반기 입주자를 모집하고 2019년 상반기 입주를 목표로 추진됩니다.

JDC는 공공임대주택과 함께 400세대 규모의 행복주택 사업도 추진하고 있습니다.
