Greenland Group seeks permit for hospital
Facility in Health Care Town would have 47 beds

The Greenland Group is seeking a permit for a hospital in the Jeju Health Care Town.

It submitted an application to the provincial government Monday for the Greenland International Hospital.

Local officials will review the documents, which include plans for hospital departments and personnel. A health care committee will then discuss the issue, with a final decision to be made following those deliberations.

The plan is for a 47-bed hospital, with around 130 employees. It would have departments for plastic surgery, family medicine, dermatology and internal medicine.

녹지그룹이 지난 28일 제주특별자치도에 외국의료기관인 녹지국제병원 개설허가 신청서를 제출했습니다.

이에따라 제주도는 녹지국제병원 등기부 등본과 진료과목 그리고 전담 인력 등을 검토해 제주도 보건의료 정책 심의위원회 심의를 거쳐 허가 여부를 결정할 계획입니다.

헬스케어타운에 들어서는 녹지국제병원은 성형외과와 가정의학과 피부과 내과 등을
운영하며 47개 병상에 130여 명의 의료진이 근무하게 됩니다.
