Park Hong-bae nominated as JTO president
Confirmation hearing next month

The former director of the province’s special autonomy division has been nominated to become the fourth president of the Jeju Tourism Organization.

Park Hong-bae is from Aewol-eup. Over his roughly four decades of government service, he has had positions that also include the director of the investment policy division and the director of the provincial economy and industry division.

Mr. Park will sit for a confirmation hearing at the provincial council next month. Assuming no major issues come up, he will then be officially appointed to his position by the governor.
