3 Seogwipo villages to receive national funding
Seogwangdong-ri, Sagye-ri, Seongeup 1-ri

The national government has selected three villages in the Seogwipo region as part of a development project.

Seoul will give 700 million won in national funding to Seogwangdong-ri, Andeok-myeon for a comprehensive development project. Another 350 million won will go to Sagye-ri, Andeok-myeon and Seongeup 1-ri, Pyoseon-myeon for cultural projects.

The Seogwipo administration will begin next year using the funds to improve living conditions in the rural communities.

농산어촌개발사업에 서귀포 3개 마을 선정

농림축산식품부가 공모한 농산어촌개발사업 사업에 서귀포지역 3개 마을이 선정돼 국비 지원을 받게 됐습니다.

안덕면 서광동리는 종합개발사업에 선정돼 국비 7억원, 안덕면 사계리와 표선면 성읍1리는 공동문화복지사업으로 각각 3억 5천만 원을 확보했습니다.

서귀포시는 확보한 국비를 활용해 내년부터 이들 마을에 대해 정주여건 개선 사업 등을 시행할 계획입니다.
