Construction association, Childfund Korea, KCTV join forces to help kids
KCTV Jeju and the Jeju branch of the Construction Association along with Childfund Korea are working together on the so-called “Love House” campaign.
The three organizations have joined hands to repair homes, helping underprivileged children by improving their living environment.
Childfund Korea chooses the beneficiaries and the Korea Construction Association carries out the repairs on the homes.
KCTV Jeju’s role is to report these happenings in order to to engage public attention.

Each organization responsible for different aspect of project
The construction association takes on the renovation expenses and members of the association volunteer their time.
This goes beyond the mere fixing homes.
Construction association member companies will be paired with a child in need of financially support.

Construction businesses should reinvest in the communities where they build. We decided to make a contribution to the lives of the children who will grow up to become leaders.

"특히 전문 건설업이 그냥 건설만 하는 곳이 아니고 사회에 환원도 해야합니다. 할 방법이 뭐가 있나 (고민해보니) 커가는 어린이들을 위해서 우리가 사회에 환원하는 것이 좋지 않겠느냐..."
The construction association started the volunteering program last year.
The scope of the problem became more apparent as the campaign proceeded.

KCTV will help publicize campaign and need for more support
KCTV Jeju will produce a program for the Love House campaign to bring more public attention to the needs of underprivileged neighbors.
