Police bust business trying to sell 1 ton of subpar mandarins

Jeju Municipal Police say they have busted a local fruit packing house for attempting to sell about a ton of substandard mandarin oranges online.

They say they have stopped the business from illegally selling any other subpar citrus.

They also say inspectors will continue their monitoring of online fruit sales and redouble efforts to keep substandard mandarins off the market.

제주도 자치경찰단은 시중에서 팔 수 없는 미숙과 등 비상품 감귤 1톤여를
인터넷 쇼핑몰을 통해 유통하려던 혐의로 제주시 애월읍 모 선과장을 적발하고
해당 비상품 감귤에 대해 전량 유통금지 조치를 내렸습니다.

자치경찰은 인터넷 쇼핑몰에 대한 지속적인 모니터링을 실시하면서 비상품감귤에 대한 단속활동을 강화하기로 했습니다.
