Audit commission inks agreement with Russian agency
Goal is ‘more efficient auditing’

The provincial audit commission signed a business agreement Friday morning with Russia’s Saint Petersburg Audit Agency.

The two organizations agreed to share financial audit methods, work together to improve their respective institutions, and implement personnel exchanges. The goal, they say, is more efficient auditing.

The chairman of the Jeju agency, Oh Chang-soo, said the agreement would also spur tourism industry development based on the geographical and cultural attractions of both regions.

道감사위 - 상트페테르부르크 감사원 업무협약

제주도 감사위원회가 오늘(22일) 오전 감사위원회에서 러시아 상트페테르부르크 회계감사원과 업무협약을 체결했습니다.

이에 따라 앞으로 두 기관은 재정집행 감독과 감사기법 공유, 제도개선 연구, 인적교류 등을 통해 감사활동 효율성을 높이는데 함께하게 됩니다.

특히, 오창수 감사위원장은 이 자리에서 제주도와 상트페테르부르크가 갖고 있는
지역적·문화적 매력을 활용한 관광산업 발전에도 협력하겠다는 뜻을 밝혔습니다.
