Seogwipo Chilsimni Festival begins Friday
Various events through Sunday

Well, as we just heard the 23rd Seogwipo Chilsimni Festival is this Friday through Sunday in and around (자구리) Jaguri Park.

The main events on the first day include a parade with residents from 17 area communities, as well as fireworks and a number of performances.

The second and third days will feature performances, games, and other activities inspired by the traditions of local villages. Those will be on the main event stage.

Other festival attractions include traditional performances, a singing contest, a youth festival, and a Jeju language speech contest.

서귀포칠십리축제 다음달 29일 개막

제23회 서귀포칠십리축제가 오는 29일부터 다음달 1일까지 사흘동안 서귀포시 자구리공원 일원에서 열립니다.

축제 첫날인 29일에는 17개 읍면동 주민들이 참여하는 칠십리 퍼레이드가 펼쳐지며 개막 축하 불�蹂樗結� 축하공연이 마련됩니다.

이어 둘째와 셋째날에는 각 마을의 전통문화 등을 소재로 한 마을 마당놀이 경연이
주행사장에서 열립니다.

행사기간에는 민속문화 예술 공연을 비롯한 칠십리가요제와 청소년 페스티벌, 제주어말하기 대회 등이 진행됩니다.
