Public survey on capital verification for Ora Tourism Complex
1,000 people to be questioned over next month

Officials began polling island residents Tuesday on capital verification for the Ora Tourism Complex.

The province is surveying 1,000 members of the public as well as some experts in relevant fields through October 25th by phone and paper.

The questions include whether respondents see the need to verify the funding for the project, what method should be used to verify it, and how an institution should be selected to check the developer’s finances.

The province plans to begin forming a capital verification committee for the Ora Tourism Complex after the survey is complete. It should be formed by the end of November.

오라관광단지 개발사업 자본검증을 위한 사전 여론조사가 오늘(26일)부터 시작됐습니다.

제주도는 도민 1천 명과 전문가들을 상대로 다음달 25일까지 한달 동안
전화와 서면을 통한 여론조사를 실시합니다.

여론조사에는 자본검증 필요성과 검증 방식 그리고 신용 평가 기관 선정 등에 관한
문항들이 들어 있습니다.

제주도는 다음달 여론조사 결과가 끝나면 11월 말까지 오라관광단지 자본검증위원회를 구성할 계획입니다.
