올해 김만덕상 수상에 강난파 - 강옥선 선정

올해 제38회 김만덕상 수상자로
봉사부문에 76살 강난파,
경제인 부문에 58살 강옥선씨가 선정됐습니다.

강난파씨는 지난 1974년부터
제주 YWCA 자원지도자와 대한적십자 자문위원으로 활동하면서
여성들의
경제적 사회 참여와 전문직업 훈련에,

강옥선씨는
성읍민속마을에서 30년간 토산품점을 운영하면서
유치원과 학교, 마을회, 복지시설 등에
나눔 봉사활동을 꾸준히 펼쳐온 공로를 인정받았습니다.

시상식은 다음달 22일 제38회 만덕제에서 이뤄집니다.

5. Winners of Kim Man-deok Award Announced
Kang Nan-pa and Kang Ok-sun take the honours

The winners of the 38th Kim Man-deok Award have been announced. 76-year-old Kang Nan-pa won in the volunteer category, and 58-year-old Kang Ok-sun took the award for business.

As a volunteer with the Jeju YMCA and a consultant with the Korean Red Cross, Kang Nan-pa is dedicated to encouraging women to participate in economics and earn professional job training.

Kang Ok-sun has been resolute in helping kindergartens, schools, town halls, welfare facilities, and other sites while also running a local product store for 30 years in the Seongeup Folk Village.

The award ceremony will take place at the 38th Man-deok Festival on October 22nd.
