Leaves on Hallasan Mountain will begin turning in about a week.

K-Weather, a private weather forecaster, expects the fall foliage season to begin around October 17th, which is five days later than last year.

If the forecast is right, autumn colors on Halla will peak around the end of the month.

한라산 첫 단풍이이달 중순부터 시작될 전망입니다.

민간 기상정보업체 케이웨더는한라산 첫 단풍이 지난해보다 5일 늦은 오는 17일 전후에 시작될 것으로 예보했습니다.

예보대로 라면 첫 단풍이 나타난 지 2 주 뒤인 31일 전후에는 한라산 단풍이 절정에 이를 것으로 보입니다.
