Free entrance to all island recreational forests Wednesday
United Nations ‘Mountain Day’

In commemoration of the United Nations’ Mountain Day, the provincial government will open all of the island’s recreational forests for free October 18th.

The list includes Jeolmul Recreational Forest, Seogwipo and Gyorae Recreational Forests, and Bulgeun Oreum.

Some 884,000 people have visited recreational forests on the island so far this year. That’s 1.2 percent more than during the same period last year.

제주도는 산의 날을 기념해 18일 하루 제주절물과 서귀포, 교래 그리고 붉은오름 등
자연휴양림 네 곳을 무료로 개방한다고 밝혔습니다.

올해 자연휴양림을 찾은 탐방객은 88만 4천여 명으로 지난해 같은 기간보다 1.2% 증가했습니다.
