Jeju Soju’s ‘Pureun Bam’ to be sold in Mongolia
Will go on in sale in Ulaanbaatar E-marts in mid-November

Shinsegae launched a new product under its Jeju Soju brand last month called (푸른밤) “Pureun Bam,” and it will be selling it in Mongolia, in addition to Korea.

Jeju Soju officials say 24,000 bottles have been sent up to Incheon Harbor, from where they’ll be shipped to Mongolia.

They will hit the shelves at the country’s first two E-mart locations in Ulaanbaatar in mid-November.

13 million bottles of Pureun Bam sold within the first month of its release. It has cornered seven percent of the soju market at Jeju E-marts.

제주소주 '푸른밤' 몽골시장 진출

신세계가 지난달 출시한 제주소주 '푸른밤'이 몽골 시장에 진출합니다.

제주소주는 당초 일정을 앞당겨 어제(22일), 푸른밤 제품 2만 4천병을
인천항을 통해 몽골 수출길에 올랐다고 밝혔습니다.

이번에 수출된 제품은 다음달 중순쯤 몽골 울란바토르에 위치한 이마트 1, 2호점에서 판매될 예정입니다.

제주소주 푸른밤은 출시 한 달 만에 130만병이 판매됐으며 제주도내 이마트 소주류 가운데 7% 이상의 판매 비중을 차지했습니다.
