Hunting season begins next month.

The season will run through the end of January. People are allowed to hunt pheasants, turtle doves, ducks, magpies, sparrows, and crows.

Hunting is prohibited in Hallasan National Park, cultural heritage preservation areas, anywhere within 600 meters of the coast, and in urban areas.

The province plans to require hunters to have an insurance policy in order to to compensate the victims of any potential bodily or property damage.

다음달부터 수렵장 개장…보험 가입 의무화

제주특별자치도가 다음달부터 수렵장을 개장합니다.

수렵장은 내년 1월까지 운영되며 꿩과 멧비둘기, 오리류, 까치 , 참새, 까마귀 등을 잡을 수 있습니다.

다만 한라산국립공원과 문화재보호구역, 세계자연유산지역, 해안 600미터 이내 해안가, 그리고 도시지역 등에서는 수렵활동이 금지됩니다.

제주도는 수렵으로 인한 인명 재산 피해에 대비하기 위해 수렵배상보험을 의무적으로 가입하도록 할 계획입니다.
