Jeolmul Recreational Forest records 700,000+ visits
Country’s most-visited national forest

For the second consecutive year, Jeju Jeolmul Recreational Forest has recorded more than 700,000 visits.

Jeju City puts the current tally at 712,000. That’s 9.2 percent higher than at the same point last year.

It is also the highest total among the country’s 41 national forests.

Jeju City authorities say they will continue to maintain and upgrade the forest’s trails to ensure visitors’ safety.

절물자연휴양림 입장객 2년 연속 70만 돌파

제주시 절물자연휴양림 입장객이 지난해에 이어 2년 연속 70만 명을 돌파했습니다.

제주시에 따르면 올 들어 지금까지 절물자연휴양림 입장객 수는 71만 1천9백여 명으로 지난해 같은 기간보다 6만명, 9.2% 증가했습니다.

이같은 탐방객수는 전국 41개 국립자연휴양림 가운데 가장 많은 것입니다.

제주시는 증가하는 이용객들의 안전을 위해 산책로를 지속적으로 보완해 나갈 계획입니다.
