11 people vying for every new public housing unit in Bonggae
Selections to be announced February 28 for 260 LH units

Nearly 11 people have applied for every new public housing unit the Jeju branch of the Korea Land and Housing Corporation is building in Bonggae-dong, Jeju City.

The local LH office received 2,774 applications for the 260 units, which puts the ratio at 10.7-to-1.

The 46-square-meter units were most popular - 214 people applied for the 96 that will be available. That’s 12.7 applicants per unit.

LH will announce its selections for the apartment units February 28th.

LH 제주본부가 제주시 봉개동에 공급하는 국민임대주택 청약 경쟁률이 10 대 1을 기록했습니다.

LH 제주지역본부에 따르면 지난 1일부터 이틀동안 봉개 국민임대주택 260호 입주자 청약 접수에 2천774명이 신청해 평균 10.7대 1의 경쟁률을 보였습니다.

세대별로 전용면적 46제곱미터는 96호를 모집하는데 천214명이 몰려 12.7대 1의 최고 경쟁률을 기록했습니다.

이번 국민임대주택 최종 당첨자는 내년 2월 28일 발표됩니다.
