Province plans more central bus lanes
Will extend them to Jeju National University, Dongseogwang-ro

The provincial government will extend central bus lanes to Dongseogwang-ro.

Bus lanes already exist along the side of the road between Jeju National Museum and (무수천) Musucheon Intersection. The province is studying through May the introduction of the central lanes around Dongseogwang-ro.

It also plans to extend the central base lanes from the Ara Elementary School Intersection to Jeju National University. Officials plan to the gradually introduce them along Yeonsam-ro.

'중앙차로' 동서광로·제주대까지 연장

대중교통 중앙우선차로제가 동서광로까지로 확대 운영됩니다.

제주특별자치도는 현재 가로변 우선차로제를 시행하고 있는 국립제주박물관부터
무수천 사거리까지 동서광로 구간에 중앙차로제를 도입하기 위해 내년 5월까지 연구용역을 수행하고 공사에 들어갈 계획이라고 밝혔습니다.

이어 현재 중앙차로제가 운영 중인 아라초등학교 사거리부터 제주대학교까지 연장하는 설계에 들어가고 이후 추이를 보면서 연삼로에도 도입할 계획이라고 덧붙였습니다.
