4-lane entrance road planned for Jeju Civilian-Military Complex Port

The Jeju Civilian-Military Combined Port is getting a new entrance road.

The provincial government has given public notice that it will begin accepting bids for the project next month.

The road will have four lanes for vehicles, bike lanes, and sidewalks. Construction is expected to cost 21.4 billion won.

Any contractor in the country may submit a bid, but at least 49 percent of the work must be done by local companies.

민군복합형 관광미항 진입도로 개설공사가 추진됩니다.

이에 따라 제주특별자치도는 이달중에 입찰공고하고 시공업체를 선정해 다음달부터 본격적으로 공사에 들어갈 예정입니다.

이번 공사는 오는 2019년까지 사업비 214억원을 투입해 2킬로미터 구간을 왕복 4차로로, 또 자전거 도로와 보행자 도로를 함께 조성합니다.

제주도는 전국을 대상으로 한 일반경쟁 입찰공사 대상이지만 지역업체 의무 공동도급 참여 비율을 49% 적용해 발주할 예정입니다.
