Jeju Tourism Forum on Tuesday
Event to focus on glut of companies in local tourism market

The 15th Jeju Tourism Forum is Tuesday at the Maison Glad Hotel.

Participants will discuss concerns over the growing number of companies in the local tourism sector.

The provincial government and the provincial tourism association planned the forum. It will begin with a keynote address by Jeju International University’s Professor Shin Wang-woo. He will talk about the growing glut of tourism companies and propose ideas on how to resolve the situation, with a focus on accommodations and car rental companies.

Attendees will break up for roundtable talks after his address.

제15회 제주관광포럼 14일 개최

가속화되고 있는 제주도내 관광사업체 공급과잉 문제를 주제로 한 제15차 제주관광포럼이 오는 14일 메종글래드 제주호텔에서 열립니다.

제주도와 제주도관광협회가 마련한 이번 포럼에는 제주국제대 신왕우 교수의 주제발표에 이어 전문가 토론이 진행됩니다.

특히 신 교수는 주제발표를 통해 도내 관광사업체의 공급과잉 문제를 진단하고
숙박업과 렌터카업을 중심으로 개선방안을 제시할 예정입니다.
