‘First Path of Grace’ opens
Fifth Protestant pilgrimage path in Jeju

The last Protestant pilgrimage path in Jeju opened Tuesday.

The provincial government, the Jeju Tourism Corporation and Jeju CBS commemorated the opening of the “First Path of Grace” at Jeju Sungnae Church.

The path stretches for eight kilometers in the old downtown of Jeju City. It starts at the church and includes Sanjicheon, Dongmun Traditional Market, and Sarabong. It allows hikers a chance to witness the development of the church in Jeju.

The first Protestant pilgrimage path in Jeju opened in 2011. The “First Path of Grace” is the last, and fifth, trail.

제주 기독교 순례길 '은혜의 첫 길' 개통

제주 기독교 순례길 마지막 코스인 '은혜의 첫 길'이 오늘 개통됐습니다.

제주도와 제주관광공사, 제주CBS는 오늘(10일) 제주성내교회에서 기념식을 열고 기독교 순례길 개통을 축하했습니다.

이번에 개통된 순례길은 제주성내교회를 출발해 산지천과 동문시장 등을 거쳐 사라봉까지 이어지는 8km 코스로 원도심을 걸으며 제주 기독교의 초기 역사를 느낄 수 있도록 짜여졌습니다.

은혜의 첫길은 2011년부터 추진해 온 기독교 순례길의 다섯 번째이자 마지막 코스입니다.
