KCTV, Jeju Ilbo, Jeju Sori form business alliance
Agreement signed Wednesday

Representatives from KCTV Jeju, the Jeju Ilbo, and Jeju Sori signed a business alliance agreement Wednesday morning here at KCTV.

Jeju Ilbo president (김대우) Kim Dae-woo, (허진영) Heo Jin-young from Jeju Sori, and KCTV CEO (김귀진) Kim Gwi-jin attended the agreement ceremony.

The three media outlets agreed to plan and gather news together, run public surveys and policy debates in the lead-up to next year’s local elections, and plan and produce special programs.

Mr. Kim from KCTV said this represented the start of cross-platform media combining TV, newspaper, and internet outlets. He said the three companies would fulfill their roles to the utmost to create a well-informed and content public.

KCTV 제주방송과 제주일보, 제주의소리간 업무제휴 협약식이 오늘 오전 KCTV 제주방송 회의실에서 열렸습니다.

오늘 협약은 김대우 제주일보 대표와 허진영 제주의소리 상임대표, 김귀진 KCTV 제주방송 대표 등 언론 3사의 대표가 참여한 가운데 이뤄졌습니다.

협약을 통해 언론 3사는 뉴스 공동 취재와 기획은 물론 6개월 앞으로 다가온 지방선거와 관련해 선거 여론조사와 정책토론회 개최, 그리고 특집기획과 프로그램 공동기획.제작을 추진하기로 했습니다.

이 자리에서 김귀진 KCTV 대표이사는 방송과 신문, 인터넷의 크로스 미디어의 출발점이라며 앞으로 도민의 알권리와 행복을 만드는데 역할을 다할 것을 강조했습니다.
