Jeju sends bottled water to quake-stricken Pohang
10,000+ bottles of Samdasoo shipped Friday

The provincial government has shipped Samdasoo bottled water to victims of last week’s earthquake in Pohang.

Governor Won Heeryong ordered the support Thursday.

The Jeju Province Development Corporation then dispatched 10,300 2-liter bottles on Friday to the damaged region through a relief association.

Some 50 aftershocks have hit Pohang since the first major quake. About 17-hundred residents have been displaced from their homes. They’re staying in nine shelters, including (흥해) Heunghae Stadium.

지진 피해지역에 삼다수 지원

제주특별자치도가 지진 피해를 입은 경북 포항 이재민들에게 삼다수를 전달했습니다.

원희룡 지사는 어제(16일) 지진 피해 지역에 삼다수를 지원하는 방안을 지시했습니다.

이에 따라 제주도개발공사가 오늘 구호협회를 통해 2리터 들이 삼다수 1만3백 병을 피해지역에 보냈습니다.

현재 포항시는 50여 차례 여진이 발생했고 흥해실내체육관을 비롯한 9곳에서 주민 1천7백여 명이 대피 중입니다.
