Province to begin selling discount vouchers for ferry travel
Anyone under age of 30 may purchase them beginning December 1

The provincial government will soon begin selling a discount voucher for ferries to and from the island.

The ‘Badaro’ vouchers will go on sale December first.

Koreans and foreign nationals under the age of 30 may purchase them. A voucher will give the bearer a 50 percent discount on weekday travel between Jeju and other ports, including Mokpo, Wando and Busan. The weekend discount is 20 percent.

They also give the bearer free or discounted admission to the Kim Man-duk Memorial Hall, the Jeju Haenyeo Museum, and other local attractions.

There are no restrictions on the number of vouchers that may be sold or used, but they will not be allowed during special periods, which include the upcoming Lunar New Year holidays.

여객선 할인이용권 '바다로' 다음달부터 판매

제주와 다른 지역을 오가는 여객선 운임료 할인 이용권이 다음달부터 판매됩니다.

제주도는 연안여객선 전용 할인권인 '바다로' 이용권을 다음달 1일부터 발매한다고 밝혔습니다.

이에 따라 만 28살 이하 내·외국인을 대상으로 바다로 이용권을 목포와 완도, 부산 등 제주를 오가는 여객선 운임을 주중에는 50%, 주말에는 20% 할인받을 수 있습니다.

또 이용권 소지시 김만덕 기념관과 제주해녀 박물관 등 일부 관광지에서 무료 입장하거나 할인 받을 수 있습니다.

이용권은 사용 횟수에 제한이 없지만, 설 명절과 같은 특별교통 대책기간은 사용이 제외됩니다
