Non-Koreans own 21.1m square meters of Jeju land
By region, fifth-most in country

Compared to other regions of the country, non-Koreans own the fifth-most land in Jeju.

The land ministry says foreign nationals own about 21.1 million square meters of local land. That’s 1.08 percent of total Jeju land.

Non-Koreans own more in Jeonnam, Gyeonggi, Gyeongbuk and Gangwon.

Locally, Chinese control most of the foreign-owned land at 44.4 percent. Americans own 17 percent and Japanese, 11 percent.

제주도 외국인 보유 토지면적 전국 5번째

제주지역 외국인 보유 토지면적이 전국에서 5번째 많은 것으로 나타났습니다.

국토교통부에 따르면 올해 상반기 제주도의 외국인 토지보유 면적은 2천 114만 제곱미터로 전남과 경기, 경북, 강원에 이어 5번째로 높았습니다.

이같은 면적은 제주 전체의 1.08%에 해당합니다.

외국인 소유 토지는 중국인이 44.4%로 가장 많았고, 미국인과 일본인이 각각 17%, 11% 순으로 나타났습니다.
