Streamlined benefit application process for new parents
Now available online

The province is making it easier for new parents to apply for the government benefits they receive upon the birth of a child.

The process can now be done online, rather than in person at a community service center.

A mother or father may submit an integrated application for pregnancy and birth benefits after identifying themselves or their spouse with an official identity certificate on the government service website called “Government 24.”

The support includes child care allowances, lower electricity fees for houses with children, so-called childbirth wages, childbirth support for disabled women, and lower gas fees for houses with multiple children.

The provincial government has set it up to automatically process applications for its childbirth subsidy and its financial support for parents having their second child and beyond.

제주특별자치도가 읍면동 주민센터를 직접 방문하지 않아도 출산과 관련한 각종 혜택을 온라인으로 신청할 수 있는 '행복출산 원스톱서비스'를 시행합니다.

행복출산 원스톱서비스는 '정부 24'에서 출산자 또는 배우자가 공인인증서로 본인 확인 후 임신.출산 관련 서비스 통합처리 신청서를 작성하면 됩니다.

지원 서비스는 양육수당과 출산가구 전기료 절감, 해산급여, 여성장애인 출산비용 지원, 다자녀 도시가스 경감 등이며,특히 제주도 자체적으로 지원하는
출산장려금과 둘째 이후 양육수당 역시 자동 처리됩니다.
