Land Transaction Permission Zone designation extended
Government must approve sales around site for 2nd Jeju Science Park

Authorities have extended for another two years the designation of a Land Transaction Permission Zone in (월평동) Wolpyeong-dong and (영평동) Yeongpyeong-dong, Jeju City.

The province’s city planning committee extended the designation of 848,000 square meters of land set aside for the second Jeju Science Park until December 18th, 2019.

Officials say they made their decision based on the unfinished land compensation and environmental impact assessment process in the area.

All land transactions in zones like these must receive prior governmental approval.

제2첨단과기단지 토지거래 허가 연장

제2첨단과학기술단지 예정지인 제주시 월평동과 영평동 일대가 토지거래허가구역으로 2년 더 묶이게 됩니다.

제주도 도시계획위원회는 최근 회의를 열고 2019년 12월 18일까지 제2첨단과기단지 예정부지 84만8천㎡를 토지거래허가구역으로 2년 더 연장하는 방안을 원안 가결했습니다.

이는 아직 단지 조성에 따른 토지 보상과 환경영향평가 등의 절차가 마무리되지 않았기 때문입니다.

토지거래허가구역에서 토지를 거래할 때는 매매계약을 체결하기 전에 반드시 행정시에 신고해서 승인을 받아야 합니다.
