211 pork restaurants apply for governor’s certification
Accreditation available to businesses that sell 100% Jeju pork

Hundreds of businesses have applied for accreditation by the governor as restaurants that serve pork only from Jeju.

The province accepted 211 applications.

Before making any selections, officials will inspect all of them by January 15th.

In order to get this program up, running, and settled as soon as possible, officials have drawn up a follow-up management plan for restaurants that receive the certification. That plan includes periodic inspections.

100% 제주산 돼기고기만을 사용하는 제주 돼지고기 도지사 인증점에 200개가 넘는 업소가 신청했습니다.

제주도는 지난달까지 제주 돼지고기 도지사 인증점 지정 신청서를 접수한 결과
211개 음식점이 신청했다고 밝혔습니다.

이들 신청업소에 대해서는 다음달 15일까지 현장심사를 거쳐 인증점 지정 여부가 결정됩니다.

제주도는 인증점에 대해 주기적인 지도점검 등 사후관리를 강화해 도지사 인증제도의 조기정착을 유도해 나가기로 했습니다.
