Kim Man Duk Music Concert held Thursday
Supports Vietnamese schools established Kim’s name

The Kim Man Duk Music Concert was Thursday at the Jeju Culture and Arts Center.

It was held to support schools in Vietnam established in the name of Kim Man-duk, a famous female philanthropist from Jeju’s past.

KCTV Jeju and the Kim Man-duk Museum co-hosted the event, which included performances by sopranos (박정원) Park Jung-won and (유성녀) Yoo Seong-nyeo.

Another highlight was a performance by a local volunteer group comprising Jeju elementary students.

The event was organized to assist (번푸) Beonpu Middle School and (칸호아) Kanhoa Jeju Elementary School in Vietnam.

김만덕 나눔콘서트 성황리 열려

베트남 만덕학교 지원을 위한 김만덕 나눔콘서트가 어제(13일) 저녁 문예회관 대극장에서 성황리에 열렸습니다.

KCTV제주방송과 김만덕 기념관이 마련한 이번 콘서트에는 소프라도 박정원과 유성녀 등이 무대에 올라 오페라와 뮤지컬 등 다양한 장르의 곡들을 선보였습니다.

또 도내 초등학생들로 구성된 재능봉사단체인 소리풍경합창단과의 협연도 펼쳐져 눈길을 끌었습니다.

이번 나눔콘서트는 베트남 번푸만덕중학교와 칸호아제주초등학교 지원을 위해
마련됐습니다.
